Louie

Louie & Vinny

Platinum Performance® client since 2012

“Louie is a chronic non-sweater, stopped sweating before he was weaned and is sweating better than ever after being on Platinum Refresh. Vinny is currently in race training and has shown marked improvement after 2 weeks on Platinum Refresh. I’m extremely pleased with the transformation this product has produced, as I have tried everything to no avail.”

“This is our first summer for my non-sweater to be on Platinum Performance Equine & Platinum Refresh in Paks. It is our third week of 100-degree temperatures, and he is still sweating. This may be our first summer that we will be able to work!”

Signs of Dehydration:

  • Pinch Test: If the skin on you horse's neck doesn't quickly return to its place after being pinched.
  • Mucous Membranes: If your horse's mucous membranes in his nose and mouth are dry and red.
  • Capillary Refill: If you press and remove your finger against your horse's gums, the spot should turn white and regain color quickly. The longer it takes the capillaries to refill correlates with the severity of the dehydration.
